Lynne Curry

As a writer, Curry authored four published books: Beating the Workplace Bully (AMACOM, 2016); Solutions (2006 and 2014, Communication Works); Won By One (1996, Communication Works) and Managing Equally and Legally (McFarland & Company, 1990).

Curry has written a weekly “dear Abby of the workplace” newspaper column for 38 years (adn.com) in newspapers in Alaska, Washington, and Illinois.

She’s agreed with Business Expert Press to write three books: Accountability for Managers; Navigating Conflict; and Reality-based Management.

As a management consultant and executive and workplace coach, Curry founded and managed (for four decades) a nationally respected firm specializing in management consulting, training, human resources and organizational strategy. She has worked directly worked with more than 4,300 organizations in Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Connecticut, Arizona, Michigan, Washington D.C., Illinois, New York, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Japan, Korea, China, Guam and England. Her clients included the World Bank, the U.S. Department of Defense, Conoco Phillips and British Petroleum. 

Curry has a doctorate in social psychology from Union Graduate School-West, a Senior Professional in Human Resources certificate from the Human Resources Certification Institute and a Senior Certified Professional Certificate from the Society for Human Resource Management.

As an expert witness, Curry has qualified in court as an expert in Management Best Practices, HR and Workplace Issues; has testified at trial twice, and has served an expert witness 21 times, balanced between plaintiff and defense work. Curry has a doctorate in social psychology from Union Graduate School-West, a Senior Professional in Human Resources certificate from the Human Resources Certification Institute and a Senior Certified Professional Certificate from the Society for Human Resource Management.

As an investigator, Curry has conducted more than nine thousand investigations into allegations of sexual harassment, workplace violence and workplace bullying. Curry also teaches investigators.

As a mediator, Curry has conducted several thousand federal to state, business to business and employer to employee mediations. Curry teaches two-day courses on mediation.
