We’re tired of wearing masks and physically distancing. We’re so done with COVID. According to recent surveys, 27% of U.S. adults have returned to pre-pandemic activities, and another 42% have partially returned to activities they’d enjoyed before the pandemic hit.1
Yet COVID isn’t done with us.
Coronavirus cases are rising, driven by the BA.2 omicron subvariant.2 In February 2022, more than 2,300 U.S. citizens died daily, the equivalent of the lives lost when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.3
Further, two new omicron subvariants appear even more transmissible than the BA.2 variant.1 Wastewater testing suggests that more COVID circulates in the U.S. than many people think.4
The many “done with COVID” individuals refusing to wear masks or physically distance may easily lead to increasing numbers of workplace COVID outbreaks and possibly trigger another virus wave.1
Worse, even mild illnesses caused by Omicron could lead to long-term problems.2 COVID may never be over for the countless individuals who suffer from COVID-aftermath symptoms such as brain fog and continuing breathing problems.
Are you fed up with COVID and the restrictions placed on you? If so, fight back—by getting vaccinated, wearing masks, and physically distancing unless you’re around only those similarly vaccinated. Stop COVID in its tracks.

We just want to be. We must still take precautions, and it’s important for people to get vaccinated–for others if not for themselves. Doing the right thing takes work and focus, but it’s still the right thing.
